Process

From reference material to accurate digital pattern files.

Every project starts with the information you already have. Reserve an appointment and bring your references, or communicate remotely by sending a sample, sketch, tech pack, photo, or reference image.

Choose your option

Meet in person or start remotely.

Reserve an appointment

Get in touch to schedule a time. Bring the references you want the pattern made according to, such as a sample, picture, sketch, tech pack, measurements, fabric notes, or fit comments.

Communicate remotely

If you do not want a meeting, send your references by email. We review the design, ask for any missing details, and tell you the cost before pattern development begins.

How it works

A clear path from idea to sample or production.

  1. Get in touch. Call to reserve an appointment or email if you prefer remote communication without a meeting.
  2. Bring or send the reference. We look at your sample garment, sketch, tech pack, reference image, measurements, fabric notes, and fit goals.
  3. Evaluate the design and cost. We review the complexity, deliverables, and pattern needs, then explain the cost before starting.
  4. Develop the pattern. The CAD pattern is drafted around silhouette, proportion, construction method, and fabric behavior.
  5. Check and correct. The pattern is reviewed for balance, seams, notches, measurements, and production clarity.
  6. Prepare deliverables. You receive the pattern files, paper copy, pattern card, marker, construction notes, or fitting updates needed for your project.

Reference material

Samples, sketches, tech packs, and reference images are all useful.

You do not need every detail finished before starting. The more information you provide, the more accurately the pattern can match your design intent, fit direction, and production needs.
